I was going to start, as usual lately, with an apology for my absence - but that's getting tired, I know! I have come to terms with the fact that I will make cards and post them as and when I can for the foreseeable future :)
I am here today with a card I made for both of the challenges currently going on over at the STAMPlorations blog. This is for the monthly challenge which is to use Stamps and Glitter, and the bi-weekly challenge which is a sketch challenge.
I'm also entering this card into the challenge at Addicted to CAS where the code word is 'Celebrate'.
Here's my card...
I wasn't exactly sure where this card was going until I got started - it turned out better than I expected for a change!! :) I used my new STAMPlorations stamps that arrived on Friday - I love happy mail!! This set is Sentiment Builders - Celebrate - it's too versatile, I love it!
I used WOW!'s Sparkling Snow embossing glitter for the sentiment and Glitz It Sparkles on the exclamation marks in the border. I haven't really been able to capture the glitter in my photographs, but I gave it a go!
My mojo has waned somewhat over the last few months - but I am hoping that it will make a come back soon, and with a vengeance - I am definitely ready to be more creative than I have been of late! :)
Here are the STAMPlorations challenges...
And the Addicted to CAS challenge...
Thanks so much for stopping by, I really appreciate it, especially as I am being super rubbish at visiting you all in return :( Both of my jobs have been crazy busy lately so I'm glad I got a chance to sit at my desk and do something relaxing rather than working!

So pretty, Sian - I especially like the off set sentiment - looks almost 3D
ReplyDeleteDefinitely no need to apologize for your absence! I am just always glad when one of your posts pops up on my reader and I know that you are ok!
ReplyDeleteI can't tell that you mojo has been has waned because this card is just gorgeous from the colors to the layout to the glitter to the shadow stamped greeting!

ReplyDeleteFabulous "Celebrate" card Sian! Love the stamped circles and the repeat sentiment. The glitter on your banner really sparkles. Thanks for joining us at ATCAS.
ReplyDeleteSIAN - it's MIA *c* finally here to catch up on your stunning cards that I've missed commenting on (but still gazed and admired when they appeared in my Feedly!) over the past month! Yeeshh...times have been hectic! Waning mojo? No evidence of that here whatsoever, my friend! You've created a delightfully inspired take on the sketch, with the repeated celebrate and the circles. The embossed sentiment...WOW (and I'm not just talking about the brand of embossing powder you're using, either!). Shimmery and glittery and dazzling! Yes indeed, I'm calling winner on this; it's already has won me over!! Hugs~c
ReplyDeleteMe likey! What a great design and execution. Thanks for joining us at STAMPlorations this month, Sian.
